Spotlight on Long COVID
While coronavirus symptoms may pass quickly for most, recent research has shown that an estimated 1.1 million people have reported suffering from post-COVID syndrome also known as Long COVID, with a serious impact on their health and daily lives.
Healthwatch Barnet is working on a project to understand the experiences of people suffering from Long COVID in Barnet. The findings will be shared with healthcare providers and the local Clinical Commissioning Group to help inform their on-going response locally and shape the available support.

Online event: Long COVID what is it and what support is available?
You may also be interested in a special Barnet-wide online event, organised by Healthwatch Barnet and Barnet COVID-19 Health Champions, which will provide information and support for residents with Long COVID. Speakers include local GPs and the directors of local health services.
The event is taking place on Zoom, 6.30 pm, Tuesday 15 June. Tickets are free.
